We´ve spent the last week skiing in Bariloche, which is in Patagonia, Argentina. It was amazing!! We had lessons for the first few days...and by the end of the week we were actually skiing and not just sitting on our bums! It was loads of fun! Dan was a bit of a speed demon and had a few spectacular falls, but nothing broken! And Bariloche is a lovely little town, set on the side of a huge lake, which makes for fantastic views from the top of the slopes - check out the pics!

It was so nice to be in one place for a whole week - we had a little cabin with our own kitchen, it was luxury after all the dorms and shared bathrooms!! Being able to cook and chill out in the evenings instead of going out to eat was great!

Before Bariloche we spent a few days in Mendoza and a couple of days in Salta. Both nice cities - we did a great wine and food tour in Mendoza!! the food here is amazing! You can buy more steak than you can eat for less than a fiver and a decent bottle of wine for three. Why would you ever leave?!

We´ve just arrived after a 21 hour bus ride in Buenes Aires. Our 3rd journey of this length! But, the buses have lived up to their reputation with hot meals served and wine and appertifs! The seats are like business classs so the whole experience is actually very pleasant!

We´re excited about BA as everyone raves about what a great place it is! Ruth & Nev, we´re meeting up with Hilary tonight for dinner.
