I arrived in Paris midday Friday after catching the TGV (fast train) from Cologne... after lugging my two packs from Gare du Nord to 'the Marais' I had decided that I was in Paris and I deserved to treat myself to a hotel rather than a hostel. Thankfully the fourth one had a vacancy and wasn't too expensive - I am on a budget you see. So Hotel Sevigne on rue Mahler it was. Actually, it's a great little hotel.
