The third leg of our journey from Edmonds to Istanbul was a nightmare. Instead of first class or business class accommodations on the 3-4 hour flight from Paris to Istanbul, Mary and I got the royal shaft from Air France.

They used an AirBus A318/319. The seating configuration is six seats to a row. Three on each side. Business class is the first 7 rows. The seat is a standard coach seat - nothing first class about. The only difference between business and coach is that the middle seat is unoccupied. My knees touched the seat in front of me when my seat back was up. The assh$&@ in front of me reclined his seat back to with 6 inches of my nose. I could count the hairs on the back of his ears.

Business class, my ass. Pure agony.
