Perito Moreno: le fameux glacier d'Argentine, à la frontière avec le Chili est juste immense, énorme, majestueux et d'une beauté incroyable. Dans le parc naturel nous avons la possibilité d'admirer un camaïeu de bleus: ciel azur, glacier blanc immaculé avec touche de bleu léger,marine et lac turquoise. Lorsque l'on s'éloigne des touristes dans le parc, seul le grondement énorme du craquement du glacier (tel un tonnerre) vient briser le silence. Un petit trekking sur le glacier (crampons aux pieds) nous permet ensuite de mieux apprécier ce site incroyable.
Ce désert de glace aux dunes irrégulières nous étonne à chaque détour par ces nuances de couleur. A la fin de cette balade, un whisky on the rocks (of course) nous est servi sur un sommet: je vous laisse deviner d'où viennent les glaçons...

The Perito Moreno is one of the various glaciers in Argentina, maybe the most famous one & I have to say it's stunning, huge & magnificent! We can admire loads of different tonalities of blue on the ice, which is the reflect of the sky & sun on the ice (as the ice is transparent). As soon as we leave the area full of tourists, we are able to listen to the cracks of the ice breaking into pieces & dropping into the water, a surreal noise! A minitrek on the ice gave us the opportunity to test walking with crampons & experience the splendour of the glacier in another way. The ice desert with those irregular dunes is just gorgeous with all those different shades of colours. Towards the end of the trek, before going down, a glass of whisky on the rocks is waiting for us: guess where the ice cubes come from...?
