Down under

Finally I arrived here. I haven't slept well so I feel bit dizzy. But I cannot wait to explore the city a bit, so I won't take a nap. Qantas doesn't have the best seats for sleeping. But I could luckily spend my time wathing movies, programs and listening to the radio. Everybody had their own screens and could choose interactively what they wanted to see or listen to.

I don't have much to say about Hong Kong...or maybe I do... It's not a great backpacker destination. It's still cheaper than Europe but after China it felt like paying millions of all the products. One day we visited Ocean Park which is some kind of theme-atraction park but without specializing on anything. It's not really worth to visit if you are in HK. It feels like a large area cause it doesn't hold so many things. There are possibilities to see pandas, dolphins, seals and fish. But as it wasn't specialized the things were bit poor. There were a few attractions, some rollercoasters and so but my opinion was that there ought to be more of them.

Yesterday which was our last day was the nicest in a way, in HK. We took a ferry to a small island called Lamma. We walked a family trail on Lamma, that took us around 1h 15min. Me and Suvi got still the last possibility to swim in the sea and enjoy the sun. But we got little sun burned and before boarding on my plane I felt quite bad - but didn't vomit. To Lamma you can take two ferries. We recommend first to take the expensive ferry 17,60HKD (1,8e) and then walk to the other harbour to take the cheap ferry 14,50 (1,5e). We did it other way around and decided not to eat on the expensive harbour cause it wasn' even nice looking.

But well, will explore Sydney today and tomorrow. Don't have much time as I will head to Blue Mountains tomorrow. I'm hoping to do some hiking there. They are called Blue Mountains cause all the eucalyptus trees make the hills all blue coloured. I stay there for two nights and I'll go to another place outside Sydney. As Gabriella isn't here I will meet her family. Will spend time at least with the Dad, supposidly the Mom has time too. As Reijo said: "We can make it blast even without Gabriella". Funny man, sounded like Gabriella.
