THIS WAS THE WORST BUS JOURNEY EVER !!!!! Rob still suffering with squidgies but after antibiotics not too bad thank god left at 9 in morn got thru border after waiting 2 hours waiting for the other 60 people on our 40 seater bus !!!!Then they transferred the people without seats to another bus ......not much better ....stopped in crap restaurants 2 dollars for a bowl of rice bollox to that I'll survive the day on biscuits ..Arrived at bus station just b4 midnight ..most b an b's were closed but tuk tuk driver found one open hmmmmmm? Next day found a better one and relocated...very chilled and pretty clean for Siem Reap.Had dinner in the night market...really good 1 dollar for fried noodles with chicken and veg and one dollar for beer ( £2.50) for both of us and cooked to order .The next day we got up at 4.30 to see sunrise at Angkor Wat ...An amazing place and thank god we hired a guide for the day .Ankara is a uni student learning to be a tour guide so his english wasnt too bad and he was very sweet. After 10 hours solid at the temples he offered to take us to be blessed by a monk...This was awesome...we drove to his hut on stilts where we offered him 5 dollars and then Rob Ankara and the Tuk Tuk driver took all there clothes off and changed into very very small sarongs lolI was taken under the hut and a little girl held a sarong up while i took everything off !!!!??? Pretty scared by now we returned and sat with our backs to the monk,on some steps ...he then proceeded to pour rusty stinky water over us by the bucket load,chanting.......I had my lips firmly stuck together not wanting to let any in and got the giggles lol Any way all our sins have been washed away now ...so best start again.

Next day we went to an artisan centre and watched the craftesmen making buddhas in wood and sandstone etc..very interesting and it was free shipping home if you spent over 1200 dollars....ok NO ! Would have looked great in our garden tho.Rob concluded in his daily tradition of the 5 o'clock massage...4 hands this time ! 2 little cambodian girls at the same time !!All I can say is that he seems more supple now

Woken up today and its Valentines day and Chinese New year.Lunch and a cocktail ....Few art galleries one with an open door for kids to come and draw...they thought it was quite funny when I jumped into their models chair and posed.Lots of shy giggling and laughing.Rob went off for his massage and on his return we hit the town ...to watch Spurs v Bolton and England and Italy rugby and who said romance was dead?
