Awful weather today- picked up Rachel & Alan from East Calder and drove through terrible road conditions to our hotel in Edinburgh. Punctured tyre on arrival- hassle sorting it out with Hertz- no spare kept in car- no tyre found in area so car towed away Sunday morning leaving us to make our own way to see the grandchildren in Dalkeith and then Edinburgh airport for midday. Took full cover out with Rental cars so now need to get reimbursed through them- more hassle for our return home.
