Hi,

Right so after Cuenca I got an 8 hour bus ride across the border and into Peru. I arrived at a beach resort in the evening at a "party hostel" so started drinking with others in the hostel. I was paying about 5 pounds a night and the place had a swimming pool so happy days! Spent most of the days just lounging about enjoying the sun and the evenings socialising, drinking at beach bars and eating delicious peruvian food.

I met some american guys who had met an english guy that owned a couple of beach huts in a place called Los Organos (the organs??) about 30 mins south of Mancora. We went down there for a couple of nights and it was brilliant. The beach was empty and we had the whole place to ourselves. Did a bit of body boarding which was quite fun, the sea was an ok temperature. One night we made a huge feast of wan tans, bloody lovely!

My time on this comp is coming to an end so ill continue with coastal stories at a later date. currently im in lima but getting a bus south in about an hour.
