Well I'm finally here, finally made it to Townsville. Got into town at 7am this morning, very tired and very sleepy. What an "adventure" it has been getting here, I had some fun but most of it was a nightmare. Tryin to squeeze 4 people into a 2 berth camper van was never going to be fun but we seemed to manage it ok to start with. Then the moaning started, about the thin beds, about the mess, about the direction, about the food/drink and finally about the parking tickets. It was certainly an experience but one I will put up with having my wisdom teeth out. If you ever decide to do a re-location then i urge you not too, its over priced, they rob you blind and believe me you'll get cabin fever by the 4th day and want to kill the people your living with. On friday morning when we arrived in Rockhampton after driving throgh the night, I decided I was sacking it in and makin my own way p to Townsville to stay with a mate. The other 3 were heading in land anyway so would have had to make a decision anyway, the fact i felt like s*** jst gave me that extra edge. Well here I am in Townsville, its a very lovely city and it boasts the highest number of sunny days than any other place in oz with an average of 320 days of sunshine a year. Today was lovley, went for breakfast at a nice cafe, sat and watched the sea and was gettin burnt by the sun at 8am, you know its gonna be a good day when the weather is like this. Have gotta start looking for work as well, i have one hundred dollars left in my bank account which is s*** to be fair, wold be more but cost so much gettin here, whilst am here i mite as welkl try and do my 3 months harvest work so can get that out of the way, once its done i can head back down to sydney and apply for my 2nd year. Anyway, hope yor all ok, sorry no funny stories today, maybe will have some soon. Oh and just realised its 13 days till my birthday. YAY me eh......
