Arrived in Las Vegas and there were pokies in the baggage area of the airport....and people were there playing!

Our accommodation with the Peregrine tour was not on the "strip" but a bit out of town at the Alexis Park Hotel and we were on the first floor and there was no lift! After negotiating the steps with overloaded suitcases we were back in the lobby taking the shuttle bus into Planet Hollywood. We werevintent on buying cheap tickets for a show.

At Tix we bought premier tickets to Cirque de Soleil Zarkana. The seats were not far from the front of the stage and we could even see the facial expressions of the artists.

Zarkana was 90 minutes of visual, artistic, acrobatic, costume, story telling, musical brilliance. The costumes were bbrilliant. The lighting and stage setting was excellent. At times it was hard to know where to look as so much was happening simultaneously on and off stage.

Everyone loved the clowns who aptly entertained us with their nonsense between stage settings. The trapeze were fantastic, the twins on the ropes were incredible, in fact, every scene was spell binding. We had a great time.
