So apparently I am perhaps more homesick than I first imagined after spontaneously bursting into tears on seeing our very own honourable PM Tone on the telly in a local cafe much to Tim´s amusement and the cafe owners bemusement!!

Anyway, hope everyone´s fine and dandy. Yes Bex you are rubbish, I was beginning to think you had put yourself forward as medical research or something....sloppy emailer! Good luck in your exams though! Also still not email Michelle, I don´t know why, I am going to send you a google mail invite...its the best I think. Try sending it again!

BTW We went to see Babel the other day to kill some time before an overnight bus....firstly Brad Pitt looks rough as you like and secondly you never said half of the film required english subtitles....obviously we checked the film was in English and not dubbed but came a little unstuck during the great long bits in Japanese and Moroccan...which obviously was in Spanish subtitles!!!! Typical!! Anyway, think we got the gist of it although the naked Japanese teenager was somewhat puzzling!!!!  x

Hey guys........sorry sorry sorry for not being in contact. As u know I have the most hectic of lives at the moment lol!! Too much partying n forgetting what day it is lol. Of course I'm studying hard aswell (I can hear you laughing from here!!!). I'm on my easter break, for 5 wks, at the mo, but not heading back to ldn till next fri. Then its working back at the hospital and loads and loads of studying as got my exams on may 15th. Good thing thou my last exams is on May 23....double celebration...birthday n end of yr one!!! Don't think I'll be joining you over there for the summer as mad busy working and studying..sorry.

Sadly Mum had a fall last week and dislocated her shoulder and has a lovely black eye and is pretty incapacitated at present so staying with me or fan.xxxx

Birthday in a log cabin sounds cool - not being able to light a BBQ must be a Whitby thing - remember the Yorkshire Moors and being unsuccessful with ours, while being observed by a very superior family with excellent equipment, whose sausages were sizzling away?

Mother's Day today - thanks for the dual purpose card, it is sitting on the bookcase with the other two (three cards!). We are just off to take Nana to lunch at Audley End - blowing a gale here, but sunny.  She was thrilled with her card, couldnt believe it had arrived so quickly from Brazil!?

  Hello everyone - Just a note to say thanks for all the birthday greets and emails.  We had a nice chilled out day on the edge of the Atlantic Rianforest....but Deb still managed to source a chocolate cake and 32 candles from somewhere....which we stuffed ourselves with in our log cabin!  Now we are in Foz do Iguacu and checking out the massive waterfalls here, also nipped over to Paraguay for some cheap shopping today and repllaced our broken camera.    Hi all, Sounds like everyone is having fun in the cold weather.....Big congrats Charlie on getting into medical school, is there anyone in our family not planning on being a doctor?? At the mo, our planned movements are to head down to Patagonia for some trekking (we can't get enough of the trekking)  and mountain rambling in April/ May, then slowly work our way up through the Lake district in Chile and spend some time in central Argentina before doing some cheap skiiing in Chile or Argentina in July. Then we will be heading further up the coast through Peru and Bolivia......any takers?? Sadly Jo, we can't guarantee any trance parties or college raves....

Hi Nan, Glad you have settled into Cornish life...jammy scones, pasties and all! Sounds like I can expect to come back to a Cornish jungle with all your planting!! We stayed in a cabin in the Rainforest surrounded by massive palms and wild banana plants which was pretty cool...the bananas were only small and not ripe enough to eat though....maybe you could have a crack at growing them???
