Hey Kids how are you getting on down south?  Im storming up the coast, now in Santiago, having been to Bariloche and Pucon since i left you.  Both are amazing places- with some beautiful places to explore!

When I left Madryn I managed to miss my bus after waiting all day for it, my ticket said 21  30, how was i supposed to know actually the bus was at 21.00 and my eat wa number 30!  The bu company wouldnt help me so i had to catch a taxi to Trelew to catch the same bus- which cot $100, my bu only cost $109 (lucky its only pesos i guess!!).

Since I have also buckled and booked my inca trail, 23rd june was the earliest i could book which i crazy- i was meant to fly from quito on the 29th so must change my flight!

I am writing this from work whilst I have five mins to my self.. Have put this from James and myself as after receiving your email today he has not stop asking if I have replied. I did and we were so busy it took me five hours to complete the email I sent you. SorrI have been crap but gave you a tiny insight into my world of madness. Cant always get on here at work as you know the  rules!!! I am peed off my emails dont get to you but its my end not yours. Jo and Nan, loved speaking to you the other day, got quite homesick afterwards, not that I want to come home just yet!!!!! Must use this phone invention more often instead I think!! So we are going white water rafting in south americas adventure sports capital in a couple of weeks.....am vaguely terrified....we are not quite extreme enough for canyoning yet though, will leave that to the you experts!!! You do realise canyoning is chucking yourself down waterfalls??

Hi Sylvia, good to hear from you, we are talking about maybe, if we can afford it, somehow getting to New York to fly home....so maybe we'll be turning up on your doorstep? We'll see.......! Have fun hiking in the Lake district with Nan...I am going to try and call you while you are over....

Hi Cathy, got your email, sorry for being rubbish at replying, will email you properly soon I promise.....am gutted I missed the first boat race day for three years when you could drink something more exciting than grape Schloer!!! Try not to get pregnant again before I get back...! BTW A Take That concert in December sounds like the perfect way to ease myself back into life in Blighty!!!

Great to here your voice the other night--we miss you--not that we want you home-just that we want to be with you there---would love to have met up with you in south america this summer but unfortunately for us job bound people  we need dates and committments(does that mean anything to you -hopefully not)--i would be really into a winter meeting though--i am forever hopeful but you two must make the most of your freedom--i am the most jealous aunt you will ever have!---with love jo

As usual am dripping with jealousy at the site of your travels but shouldn't really be admiiting that I guess! Everything good here - still haven't moved house but getting there!Boys up to the usual antics and getting really big now ( that includes Shaun hee hee!) Debs, did you get me email a while back - wasn't sure if it went or not but wanted you know I had been in touch! Been meaning to send some photos of the boys but haven't got round to it yet, will I promise. Glad to see you are having a fantastic time, I am very jealous.    I am off to central China next week ( work unfortunately), I will take some photos.

Hallo everyone.....HAPPY EASTER!!

We have had an amazing week....travelled over 3500 km by bus to Patagonia....including two 17 hour journeys, one 12 hour ride and four border crossings!!.....we are now in the worlds most southerly city and it is freeeezing cold, woolly gloves, misty breath and all.....but beautiful scenery with snowcapped mountains (which we have climbed!) all around...but best of all we actually watched Orca killer whales chasing seal pups along the edge of the beach....it was amazing!!!!!!
