By my calculations you are still in Central America somewhere, possibly Caye Caulker, Belize.

Things have been hectic and fun since we left you on Utila, Honduras. We got to Tegucigalpa ok, got to the airport to discover I needed a visa to get into Brazil and didn~t have one. To cut a long story short, couldnt fly, mad trip to Brazilian Embassy, begged and pleaded and offered sexual favours (well, I would have done if Id had to) to the guy to process it on the same day which he did, stayed another night in Teguc, and flew out to Sao Paulo Brazil the next day via Panama.

Panama looks like a great place BTW if you are going there.

b*****ed after no sleep and multiple plane changes, the gods were smiling on us that day... We really needed a flight to Salvador in order to get to Carnaval before it started as everything normal shuts down for a week. All flights were booked out, but 2 people cancelled when we were there and we got those 2 seats, and the plane left about 90 mins after we arrived in the country. Amazing, just amazing.

All that was well worth it because Carnaval has been OUT OF THIS WORLD. You guys MUST come here for it next year.. you will love it. Everyone is happy!

We are off to Manaus and the Amazon on 8 Feb and some more adventure. Better go as James is back from the beach and we are off home for some dinner in our little rented apartment. James says to say hello and hopes that you are both well, good and happy (especially Dan, ha ha) . :-)

Oh my god, you are just toooooo brown and looking tooooo relaxed, you are now not allowed to come home until the tan has faded!! Photos look fab though and you are in for such a shock when yo get back, its cold!

Just nearly puked looking at your photos, it makes me sick!! You seriously need a reality check and get back home it's bloomin' rainy and freezing here!! Hey Tim and Debbie! We had an AWESOME time snorkelling and hanging out on the beach- and then later at dinner and playing cards in Montezuma! (Are you still in Montezuma??) If you are, you should totally take the boat trip to Jaco- we saw a Marlin jumping, dolphins, a HUGE turtle, and tiger whales- what a fun ride! (even if my luggage got a little wet:-P) Hope things are going phenomenally and that you have fantastic Christmas in whatever tropical location you might be!
