Tessa & I met to exchange travel goodies this morning over coffee & cake ... enjoying a catch up and the support of two people who still have lots of little things left on our lists to do! And yet, next time we see each other will be in our hotel in Nairobi ... a week tomorrow!

Where have the last 6 months gone - it feels like only last week I made my cheeky request for time out? It is unreal to think that I finished work this morning & it'll be 3 months before I log on again.

Tessa thinks it'll be that first morning we come out of our tent and are enjoying a cup of tea in a land that is so different from anything either of us know in our day-to-day lives that this dream coming true will begin to feel real.

In the meantime the headless chook look continues as we both do the final things we need to do over the next 7 days. For me this is time with G before being parted for 11 weeks, for Tessa it is getting everything sorted at her home and spending time with family. In between all that the checklist needs a final perusal ... once we go that's it for 11 weeks.
