We leave Deal's Gap and head off for the Blue Ridge Parkway. Again beautiful scenery to our first stop of Cherekoee to experience east coast Injun country. Another quaint small town with lots of shops selling moccasins, blankets etc. From here we make a quick detour to the Wheels through Time motorcycle museum in Maggie Valley, which holds the largest private collection of motorcylces in the States, the majorityof which are Harleys, with a few Indians.

Then onto the Blue Ridge Parkway - excellent roads, gorgeous vistas - to Asheville for our first stop off the Parkway. Another long day on the road but the scenery is breathtaking and makes it all worthwhile.
