Hey guys, long time no blog, Im sorry just not been able to get on to the net in a while :)...Im fine, just landed in Saigon.

Well where do I start, firstly have to say Hanoi is a bit pants, not much to do and really busy. My tour finished with Intrepid and one of the girls decided to leave the tour with me and go on our own. So we got a public bus to Halong bay, well what adventure that was, we got thrown on to a bus with 2 really dodgy looking guys, most people look like there up to no good here lol. After what seemed like 2 days in fact 4 hours they dropped us on a dual carrier way, no joke. We managed to get a taxi in the end after sweating for ages carrying 20 kilos on our backs, but it was worth in the end. What a view, there like mountains in the water, so beautiful...pictures will follow when i find somewhere good to upload. It could take a while. The bay reminds me of skegness, it was so cheesy and quiet, but they had sand, yay first ive seen lol. There was no one there apart from the locals who are obsessed with karoke lol.

We took a boat trip round the bay and it was so good, went in a cave they all look the same but i didnt mind it was a great day, not been that relaxed in ages :)

We found a more comfortable way back, more expensive but worth it, i think me and shoestring travel are over lol

Having finally got back to Hanoi to catch our flight we bumped into the old Intrepid tour group. This is where Alex decided to go back with the tour, i dont mind, she never seemed comfortable doing it independant..and ill meet up with her again in Bangkok :)

So Im going it alone for now, fly to Bangkok tmrw after I catch the war museum here in Saigon. It seems a cool place but i dont have much time here howeverim here twice due to flights, so im sure ill get round most of it :)

Its amazing how tiring travelling is, its been a bit of a low point over the last few days, your taking in that much, you forget sometimes how lucky you are to be out here. Im glad Im only away for 4 months, think that long enough for me. Im missing home alot,god that is sad isnt it, missing the rain lol.

Oh yeah iIfinally managed to get a wound in Vietnam, so ill be showing the scar I get back in Nam haha :) (sorry had to get that one in lol)
