Hi everyone, I've been really slacking on writing updates on our adventures. I'm going to start this by expressing how grateful I am that Kalani and I are exploring Europe together. As the time passes I wish we had an abundance of time.
We have stayed very flexible about all our plans throughout our trip and it has been working out amazingly.
London- spent five nights in total. Our first night we stayed at a friend of a friends house who was out of town. That night we went to a pop up gin and tonic bar. It was only open in that location for another week. The next day we moved to Bret's house (former smirkos, graduate from ENC and good friend of mine) Him and his husband own a flat near hoxton square. It it's right along the river with a beautiful view. His roommate MJ, is an amazing dancer and coincidently had just met and spent time with Tunji a friend ours from Hawaii. During the days we spent a lot of our time on the tube. We went to train at a circus facility a few times. Unfortunately the time we had in London just wasn't enough. We had lunch with Aileen and Eric at Covent Gardens. We managed to make it to Camden market where we had a lot of fun shopping. On our way home that evening we stopped in an Italian clothing store and the owner enjoyed bring us outfits to try on. We ended up staying a good three hours just having trying things on. We went to the London Eye and watched a circus show called Limbo on the south bank. The show was entertaining and we both enjoyed it. The hoop girl ha graduated from ENC many years ago and it was really nice to speak with her after the show. Our last night we stayed in Soho with friend who was performing at the Box. We saw the show which was quite an experience that would be better explained by seeing it, it's definitely not a show for everyone. Afterwards we took a little bike tour around Soho.
The next morning we over slept and almost missed our train ride to East Sussex... But we made it there :)
Jean, Graham's mother was at the station to pick us up. We walked back to her place which was only about a 10 minute walk. The next day was the the first time we were going to use our eurail passes however, we learned that first, for certain trains you had to reserve seats ahead of time and second, that our eurail pass wouldn't cover traveling from the UK. We were really stressed out but finally figured everything out. That evening we had dinner at a little restaurant and then had tea and looked at pictures with Jean and Gina.
Our train left at 5:30am, Gina ended up driving us to the stations because the taxi's didn't open until 6am.

Shakti Fun. I'm getting a great picture of your adventures. Thanks
Grammy Great blog, you should save it in hard print. I have my log from my trip when I went to Europe when I was 19. I still have it and it is fun to read!
