So, the story starts out!!

We have some very special friends in Mt Vernon.
So we give them a call and say we are coming and they say FANTASTIC!

What special people!!

This place is so beautiful! There are fields and fields for miles of tulips. Its awesome.

It's like you are in the country no matter where you go, yet they have everything, Costco, Walmart, Malls, Outlet store. Everything!

And so beautiful. Green fields, snow covered mountains in the background. Wonderful weather.
All Western Washington has a very special beauty that you have to see to appreciate.

Anyway we are there for a day and Mel comes in and asks what it will take to keep us around for
awhile?? I tell him " You have to keep Roy busy"

Then the fun starts. Roy says" You know Mel, a white vinyl fence would sure look good 
around this place"

So begins our journey into vinyl fence building.

The ground here has a lot of clay in it. So Roy decides he will just dig 72 holes 8ft apart.

Mel say nooooo we will rent an auger. So first two augers would not dig at all. Come to find out
they had bad bits.

Third day rented an auger that had to be delivered so Roy asked Mel to have the delivery man show them how to work it.

That one did not work either. So delivery guy calls company and has them deliver a new bit.

Couple hours later 72 holes are drilled!!!

Had an emergency come up and Sue , (Mels wife) was not feeling good. Mel ran her to the hospital

  They almost lost her. We were all scared and praying! They put her in Critical care .

Ran a lot of test. Thought it was the Rx she was taking caused Septic shock .

Then later decided that may have triggered her condition.But she has a weak heart and they are going work with her to strengthen it as of now.


 So Mel was busy with more important thing on his mind.

  
 So Roy and I build fence.

We had a blast. We just seem to figure out how to work well together and before you know it, one very beautiful vinyl fence is built.
