Hi Everyone, After Phi Phi we went off to Ko Tao, we had a nightmare 8 hour overnight ferry through 2 tropical storms!!! it was a nice place, but due to the bad weather i moved on to bangkok after 2-3 days... and so i Just thought i would update you on my antics in Bangkok so far. Day one i met a mental Aussie called Jay and we went and had a few beers, then i met up with him the next day and he told me all about his night with a Thai prostitute and his spiritual journey round Bangkok temples on a Tuk Tuk. We then met this mad Tuk Tuk driver called Jonmarley who thought he was Bob Marley, yes dreadlocks and all! We asked him to take us to the Forensic science museum so that we could go and look at dead bodies and stuff. He said he wouldn't charge us if he took us to 2 shops on the way (taylor shops) so we agreed as it meant Jon got free fuel. Mental Jay decides to make up a story about us going to a wedding in a weeks time and that we needed suits made, oh my got they were over us like flies. We made our excuses and promised to bring the rest of the wedding party in the next morning for fittings!! The next stop was another taylors and this time they guessed really soon that we were taking the piss! so they asked us to leave....he he We finally made it to the Museum but i don't know how as Jon was driving like a maniac and stopped 3 times go get cans of beer, which he was drinking while driving the wrong way down the street. I nearly wet myself in shear fear! The Museum was one of 10 at the hospital and we managed to do 4 of them. It was fairly greusem stuff (www.rotten.com in the flesh), like babies in jars and siamese twins, but the highlight had to be the bodies of the murderers, that had been exicuted and put on display, most of them were rapists. Not a pretty sight. There was also a head of a man that had been decapitated in a car accident and a head of a man that had been shot through the head, this one was particularly interesting as it had been cut down the middle so you could see the path of the bullet through the guys brain....yummy! After that we rested and then met up again for some drinkies, Jay took me to this club which was fairly normal but this girl (and it was a girl) kept trying to grab my meat and veg, i kindly grabbed her wrist and told her to leave me alone. this didn't go down too well so one of her friends tried to trip me up. I told her what for! then told her to turn around and to never look or touch me again, i think it helps being over 6 foot!! We then stopped off at the place that Jay was staying at for a few drinks and as Jay has to talk to everyone we we soon chatting to 2 Israeli guys, it took Jay an hour to realise that he was the only one into ladies and that the guys were a couple, needless to say i'm sure they were really interested in his antics with the hooker from the night before.....yawn On Wednesday i finally managed to get hold of Josef the little German that i met on Phi Phi, he was staying in the Sheraton Orchid (thats a posh hotel Gavan) and Josef and i met up last night for a few drinks, needless to say the breakfast at the Sheraton hotel was lovely.......wink Today i feel like a Zombie, i have had about 5 hours kip each night for the last 5 nights and my eyes are bugging out my head. I am going to have a beauty nap now and get ready for whatever next Bangkok is going to surprise me with. Michelle is due here tomorrow but i think she may have missed the boat, a common afliction to travellers after a heavy night on the booze.......
