Another 531 clicks closer to the top end and an interesting day on the road. Still feeling the cold this morning - was only 9 degrees when we rolled out of Keith just before 8am. Was good to get some distance behind us before a brief stop off in Hahndorf to let the boys have a look around at this lovely little German town that brought back memories for both Anth and I, having both travelled there as children with our own families. Day 1 done & dusted! Boys are off having showers after having done the dishes - Anth & I are sitting by the campfire enjoying a quiet drink. No major dramas if you don't count me having to rewire the 12v plug for the car fridge at the last minute when I went to plug it in this afternoon. Had it all sorted and organised, knew what I was doing only to be let down by the increasing lack of strength in my hands....... Early onset of a bit of arthritis sucks!...
