After the serene beach life (interspersed with the nightlife) in Mui Ne I was feeling a bit apprehensive about heading to a big city and was yearning to stay on the beach. The sun has finally got his hat on! Have had a lovely few days in pretty Mui Ne; it's been a little holiday within the holiday after the ordeal of all the rain, floods and drenched backpacks over the past couple of weeks. I've found the sun! Arrived in Mui Ne, a beautiful beach resort town along the Southern Vietnamese coast, late last night and it's hot! Sat sipping a smoothie at a beach bar, overlooking the clean golden sand and bright blue sea.... bliss. It's Cords' birthday so we've treated ourselves to a nice little beach bungalow, its really quite lovely. I'm off for a sunbathe... x

I'm in the honeymoon capital of Vietnam, Da Lat. A strange town way inland, which has a cooler climate than the coast and is known amongst backpackers for offering some of the best sights on the Easy Rider motorbike tours. I'm fleeing to the hills! Despite my misgivings, Nha Trang turned out not to be so bad after all; no beer boys, no buckets of lethal cocktails, and nice restaurants to be found.
