Take 2 - laptop ate my first one..., have to put it up in pieces... Wow! What a day! I'm convinced there must be two LA's cos the one we're seeing is brilliant. Almost there! Clear skies. Plane all fuelled up. Given the 4 am wake up spirits are pretty good. USA here we come!!

Wow, what a flight. A 7 movie marathon broken only by meals and an attempt or two at sleep foiled by the elbows of a stranger or young Brooke. The others fared a little better, but it will be a very early night. Cathay Pacific = brilliant. Weather = perfect all round, bar a bit of turbulence Hawaii way. Miserable weather. Airport shut down. Stuck at work ........ It can only get better from here!!!!! Update: Airport reopened as storm passed. Some lucky people spent 8 hours sitting on the tarmac in a plane! Crossing fingers that the next storm front passes and flights are back to normal in the morning. Frantic last minute packing going on with less than 12 hours to go and one last sleep!
