Sleep in!
Blockout curtains and a long drive saw even me sleep in to 9! Unheard of!
after a piggie breakfast we wandered around a few neighbouring hotels then off to the outlet shops.
the shopping was ...... zzzzzzzz ...... sorry - where was I? Oh, yeah, outlet shopp...... zzzzzzzzz ....What? Huh? oh, yeah , outlet shopping. Outlet shopping .....scratch my eyes out..... outlet shopping...... scratch my eyes out ...... hmmmmm. choices!
The day disappeared into those retail outlets. Relatively cheap, but not screamingly so. All the screaming was in my head.....
The girls left happy. Armfuls of bags full of bargains....
We stopped at a laundromat on the way home to catch up on chores and mix with the friendly locals, then a last tour along the strip before retiring, exhausted. Tomorrow on the strip, then Grand Canyon the day after.
Loving Las Vegas. Such a land of contrasts - desert versus oasis, luxury versus fairly basic housing in the shadows of the hotels. Great people and a nice vibe.
Another midnight finish .... uh oh....
