Gail had a wee lie in this morn so i spent some time trying to contact BA as the swines cancelled my flight home. Finally got through and the nice man transferred me onto the last seat on a bmi flight to Edinburgh - business class yey! We decided to get the bus to Stanley for a nosy. Gails guide book recommended sitting on top deck to get views of repulse bay. It looked lovely, huge beach and if we had more time in hong kong it wouldve been worth spending a day ...

By god our feet hurt today. We've been on the go the whole day and queued a lot but its been another good one. Started off by visiting the Tain Tan Buddha statue on Lantau Island. To get there we had to take the mtr to tung chung then a 25min ride on the Ngong Ping 360 cable car to the top. The views were fab - you could see for miles and overlooking Lantau country park which was beautiful. At the top you have to walk through Ngong Ping village - a bit of a tour...

Hello! That's us in hong kong now. Lovely hotel, weather roasting and nice to escape the rain woo hoo! Today we walked from causeway bay to central. It was mad - Sundays are a day off for Indionesian & Filipino maids so almost every bit of park, square, walkway and pedestrian areas taken up by the women sitting with their picnics!
