After what seemed like an eternity in the van we finally arrived in Newcastle or to be more specific the town of Stockton a short ferry ride from central Newcastle. Leaving Byron Bay early we arrived in the town of Coffs Harbour by late morning. We had decided rather than stay in a campsite in the in Coffs itself we chose a quieter camp at Moonee Beach about 10 minutes from Coffs.
