So its back to civilisation and the city of choice is Sacramento. No disrespect to the folks of sacramento but our reason for this is more one of geography. The city is heading in the direction of our next big stopover in Seattle and is somewhere to catch up on our correspondance and chill out for a couple of nights. Due to some pretty bad forest fires about 30 miles from the city, the air was very smoky and according to the people of sacramento they had not seen the sky for over 2 weeks! We spent the first afternoon with our heads buried in the computer and then spent the evening at the cinema watching a film called Hancock. Not sure if its out in the uk at the moment but it is a really funny film with Will Smith as an alcoholic super hero!

The next days chore is to get a new camera to replace our previous digital excuse which had died a catastrophic death halfway up a waterfall in yosemite. We visited a few stores before choosing our next digital victim! Needless to say i had the final choice and we ended up with a lovely pale pink olympus camera and a barbie pink case... get in!! We then spend the evening relaxing watching tv with a bottle of wine.

Maybe not the most interesting blog ever written as we didnt do much but we were there so we wanted to let you know about it!!
