It's a sweet place - cobbled squares, low-stature buildings along streets lined with many different kinds of mature trees pushing through the pavements. Pricey to stay and eat, but it's especially evocative of early colonial times in the evening with replica gas (or is it oil?) lamps casting a golden glow on quaint little eateries and ruined convent walls.

Sheila saw more of it than me - I had to go and have a lie down, but I'll get to see the pictures later i suppose!
