Today we arrived in Bangkok, more specifically Khao San Road and it was everything I expected it to be...lively and hot!
We were staying at a hotel at the end of the road called Buddy Lodge which was a good place to stay (well picked Tom!). The bed was huge and really comfy and the hotel even had a rooftop pool - a little calm amongst the madness!
We did a bit of exploring and in the evening got pad Thai, a couple of buckets of rum and coke and a plate of crickets...as you do when you've had afew drinks in Thailand!
After trying (and failing) to barter for some of the popular elephant trousers we called it a night as the jet lag was still very much with us!
