Cloudy in France, Sunny and very windy in London
Not much going on today as we travelled back to London which took all day. We started the day with a wakeup call at 6am, breaky at 6.30 and on the coach by 7.30.It took about 3 hours to get to Calais where we had to go through border control before we could board the ferry. The ferry only took about2 hours and to occupy myself l tried on sunnies and ended up buying a pair of Givenchy ones…..yeah, thought l'd splurge a little, plus it was tax free so that was a good excuse. Mum and l had bought a cheese & ham roll and a chocolate torte in France at the comfort stop so we ate that on the boat for lunch. Once we disembarked we boarded the Cosmos coach which took us to their headquarters at the Novatel in Hammersmith where we caught a taxi to the Mecure in Paddington where we are staying the night. The taxi cost 20 pounds which isn't too bad and it was a merc! Anyway, by this time it was 5pm and we were b*****ed so we just went to our room and let me tell you it was great to have a bit of space after all the tiny rooms in Europe. We had a bite to eat at the hotel and hit the sack. Yawn….soooo sleepy.
