Monday 16th February 2004 Arrived in Cairns knackered from our thunder/lightening flight, had a sleep and wandered round town before heading to the restaurant where we get FREE meals - yippeeeee!!!! Tuesday 17th - Saturday 21st February 2004 We spent 4 days doing our PADI Certifications. Spent most of the first two days doing theory and swimming pool skills and had an EXAM - goddam where supposed to be on holiday! Spent the second two days on the reef, did 5 training dives up to 18m having top do all of our skills i.e. remove mask/put it on under water, emergancy ascents, buddy assisted breathing etc etc Then we qualified and had a \'fun\' dive where we explored the reef on our own - it was brilliant!!!!!! Saw loads of exciting marine life. Sunday 22nd February 2004 Headed onto the Oz experience down to Mission Beach....
