Today we went to see the big buddha. The biggest buddha in thailand. They only use the money which the visitors donate. A couple years ago they had just a few visitors a week and now hundreads a day. We took a Tuktuk to get up there cause it's an hours drive up the hill with various views. The best thing was that our tuktuk had a great soundsystem where we could play our music and the friendly driver waited for us while we were looking at the big buddha. It's ridicolous how the thais drive... Some mothers had about three children with them on their motorbike or 15 people sitting in the back of a pick up truck.
Afterwards we ate dinner at a fancy place and had some drinks. The waiter was verry shoked about how many drinks we ordered at once but we needed to make use of the happy hour ^^
During the romantic night walk at the beach.. Fiona spotted thousands (her way -> for me there were only a few) of little white and red crabs in the sand. You could only see them when the waves washed the sand away. I thought they were really cute and she was freaked about them. She managed to look at them and even thought one of them was really cute. Of course I needed to make fun of her - what a pleasure :P
We even went in a nightclub and left at 4am. It was kinda the same as back home.
On our way home we tried a delisicious looking marinated meet but in the end we had to leave half of it and made the dogs happy.
And again we had our little poolparty cause probably we won't have a pool again during this trip.
After that we catched up with some people back home in the cold. Of course we had to make them jealous cause they had to go to work the next day. (Buuuut we love them tho)
At 6 o'clock we finally went to bed even though we had to get up early (10:30 o'clock :)) im the morning.
