I get knackered carrying my Tescos shopping up the stairs, so quite how you are getting up mountains every day is beyond me.

My operation has gone okay. I expect to have full use of my arm by Christmas time - Otherwise we will not be having Xmas dinner.

Dear Issy and Pat,

I can't believe you've left China already and are on the next phase of your travels. You'll be in Oz in 3 weeks and I'll get to see you in Sydney in 6 weeks. I know it's a while yet but it's getting closer! Can't wait.

Keep safe and well while you're on the free-form part of the trip. Asia can be pretty full on, so some down time sounds like it will be very welcome.
