The Travel Nuts Australian Adventure
Tuesday 12th February 2019 - We on the way to Swansea and on the way we:
We revisited the Port Arthur Historic Site, because we didn't get to see everything the day before.
Took the Wielaugh Forest Drive along an unsealed road through lush rainforest, spotting our first wild Tasmanian Devil on to Three Thumbs reserve. We walked to the lookout that gave magnificent views over to Freycinet Peninsula to Great Oyster Bay & Maria Island that surrounded by oyster bay pines, blue gum & peppermint trees, native grasses & heath, with wedge-tailed eagles souring in the skies above.
Spiky Bridge that was built by convicts in 1843 with field stones and was our last stop for the day.
