We eventually rocked up in Nha Trang, a beach destination which is massive with the Russian tourists, all the menus even in Russian etc. Everyone bar me an old couple piled off. As we were continuing on to Dalat. We were then drove to the office of the bus company where were given our tickets for our onward journey. Two minuets later, the geezer who I was kipping next to and his mate rock up. Turns out he didn't realise that he shouldn't have got off. What a numpty.

Waited for about an hour and we were on our way. Found digs. There was an English couple in the dorm, the lad my age, his lass 26. Really nice people. The lad was training to be a doctor. Booked Cannyoning. Me the couple, this English lass called Fran and Peace, the owner all chilled downstairs and had a craic on. Had a game of cards.

Got picked up for canyoning. Was great as I was in a really small group, with a really nice Dutch couple and a Mexican dude called Adrian, who was funnily also on my bus from Nha Trang. There was also the two instructors. We started the day by getting geared up, with helmets, life jackets, harness, and for me coz I came in flip flops, some nice asic trainers.

We then went into the forest and practiced abseiling down a hill against a tree. There was also another big group there doing the same on the tree next to us. Then a gigantic group of around 20+ rocked up!!! I felt so sorry for them lol. There was only four of us and it was much nicer.

We then made our way to the stream and we waited our turn to go abseiling down the cliff. Obviously me being the hard case of the group I went first. I slowly walked down the cliff, and then it went verticle and we could push off the wall and repel. Eventually at the bottom the rope runs out and you are freed, allowing you to jump backwards into the water. Haha was really good, and actually a good buzz. We all made it, and one of the geezers took photos for us at the bottom with our cameras.

Next up was a small cliff jump at four metres, and we all stood at the bottom of a waterfall at the end. We then done another abseil, a bigger one and the last dry one. We then surfed some waves down a small waterfall, making body chains and all sorts lol.

We then trekked through the jungle to our next abseil spot, there was a queue so we got lunch, which was very nice. This one was a wet abseil, which was really big. I went first and I slowly manoeuvred myself down the cliff with some much water gushing over you at the same time, and at times it felt as if I were gonna get swept away under my feet. I made sure I had a strong base, but it still felt slippery.. When the cliff goes vertical you run out of rope, forcing you to jump and fall backwards. Was really fun.

Afterwards was the highlight of the day, an 11m jump of a cliff to the bottom. I was first up naturally and nailed it! It wasn't a straight flat edge, so you really had to make you attacked it with conviction otherwise it wouldn't have been impossible to hit something on the way down lol.

I did it four times in total. And we all ended up doing it, even the Rickst, the lass, and uncoordinated Adrian. When another group came I was surprised that all but one made the jump, a lad, what a wimp! Even another girl made it.

We then made for our last stop, the washing machine. Again I was first, and this one involved abseiling down a cliff, over an overhang when a waterfall came into your side and covered you. You just had to keep with it and slowly lower you self down and eventually into the water below where the water fall landed on you. Eventually you came to the bottom of your rope and the force of the water would push you down underneath and spit you out further into the pool. Was cool.

We all completed it and made the long ascent, walking back up the hill to the road we got one last pic with each other and got picked up by our driver and dropped off. Just in time as well as the heavens really opened up and it hoyed it down. Craiced on in the dorm on the night. Got locked out of my bank card, and sorted it out.
