I wake up at about 8am and get dressed with Eugenia to see Tara off at 8.30. Everyone else is up from our group too and its nice to see this camaraderie. I wake by 6.30am and Eugenia is out taking photos. I use the loo and then have a little look around the camp. I can hear people singing on the other side of camp. It feels really nice here and I'm sure at 3820m we are all feeling a lot more comforable. I enjoy my tea and water bowl and Eugenia helps me get my knees strapped up for the rest of the descent. Its about 1.30pm. The heat has warmed everything up to a lovely temerature and I cant quite believe how cold it was just 14 hrs ago. Again I have to climb the rocks up to the loo and then down again to the food tent. My legs and knees are starting to ache and I'm a little concerned about my joints for the first time this trip. Early this morning we are woken up for some food and tea. We stumble down to the food tent by about 11.30pm with all of our day packs and have tea and biscuits and prepare ourselves ready for the final push. Most of us are exhausted. Managed to make it through the night without being sick and I'm feeling better now my body has had a chance to rest.
