On Monday Ray and I visited the local Rudgwick surgery and spoke to the 'wise woman' who informed us that on our travels we will encounter, Cholera, Hepatitis A and B, Yellow Fever, Dysentery, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Typhoid, Japanese Encephalitis and Rabies!!! ..and there I was worried about getting the squits!!!...anyway following this meeting I now have an extremely bruised and aching arm and am due back to the wise woman next Monday for more brutal but necessary stabbings.....we were also informed that we need to take anti Malarial tablets most of the time we are away and the side effects could be, terrorising dreams, hair loss and anorexia! (yeah, I know what you are thinking!!)....the other side affect that they didn't warn me about is that my partner would lose his hair through worrying about losing his hair!!..Who would have believed that a tiny little insect with a cheeky little probing proboscis would create such a nightmare!!!

So I shall follow all instructions given by the wise woman, put two fingers up to all invading mozzies.. spray my entire body with skin disintegrating DEET, wrap myself up in a mozzie net at all times, splat as many of the little bastids as I can and try to enjoy myself...
