Sooo after a lovely dinner...the 3 hit the bed early as there was going to be a big climb the next day according to Natalie’s book. It was Sunday, and nothing open for a considerable distance, but we managed to find coffee and ham/cheese sangies...(a staple by now..lol) before our ascent over the pass that day. Some of it was along the hwy, but then up we went through some lovely scenery and meadows! Back down on the other side was a lovely town called Biaona with a Castle and a lovely waterfront harbour. We decided it was time to find a place to park and DO LUNCH❣️
Natalie ordered a pitcher of Sangria...she was ready...and then came some appies, salad, and Paella for the 3 of us...YUM!
We did not much feel like putting the boots back on that day. I chose to free my toes in Tevas and we pushed on as we had made reservations in a very cool old Monastery. When we arrived to check in...we discovered that it was not that much more to have 3 single rooms, so we opted for that bit of luxury after many shared nights so far. It was lovely
We quickly showered and boogied off to TAPAS...and vino Tinto...quite a bit that night...lolo We returned to the Monastery like bad girls giggling and exploring the rooms we were not sure we were supposed to be in before heading to bed. It was the last night for Nicole to be with us...so a sad departure the next day, as Natalie and I had plans that were different from hers.
People come...and then they gooo...all good and soo lovely to have them in our experience for a while...we Missed you Nicole❤️
