Catching up here...as at times Wifi is spotty and hard to load pictures...

Sooo after my friend Janine and I parted ways...i walked alone for a few hours and really reflected at the beauty of this country and it people. I love it here❣️❣️

Lo and behold..not long later I met Carmen...a really cool lady from again...GERMANY...there are a lotta GERMANS on the Camino❣️ Carman and I had a great day walking and stayed the night at the Obitur Campground 11€ again in a little cabin. Had a Sweet afternoon at the pool chatting and then a lovely dinner during which Portugal won the final game and the Cup.

I walked alone the next day through beautiful farmers fields and took the shortcut to Fao...where they had a cool hostel with a pool. 6€ a night...and went to an amazing restaurant where we celebrated the win for Portugal and the CUP for Football game...it is a BIG DEAL HERE!

Left early the next day to Marinhas ...and walked alone...was lovely! Forests and beautiful scenery. Used my poles for the first time Vivienne...THANKS❣️

Beautiful town and a other one I spent 2 nights in! Walked there with young Tim from Ireland who I met along THE WAY in a church getting a stamp and some water. We had a great time chatting Law of Attraction, as Tim was clear we were NOT going to get beds at the Albergue in town..so we played a game called ACT AS IF...and saw ourselves where we wanted to be...lol He was not sure at first and the with a little coaching he was already asking me for books to read.

Tim gave me a gift too...cause whenI almost gave up on my longest distance yet..27klms❣️❣️

My learning is...we all gave gifts to give each other...but sometimes they come form a totally unexpected Source...I never saw Tim again...

Such a lovely city it was and after my walk of 27 klms the day before, I decided to stay put for another day since there was also a Medieval Festival starting that night that was not to be missed❣️That morning I met Metya and Eva who also decided to stay another day as well so we tripped around together and went up the mountain to the big BEAUTIFUL Cathedral on the mountain. Was an amazing view from up there, and the church was stunning inside and out with the stained glass windows....Took a little train up and back to forgo to 780 stairs

Bonus that night was the Medieval Festival that happened in town too...all about the PORK again...RIBS this time...SOOOO GOOOD!
