Wow..this place was a MIND BLOWER... One little town of castles of the rich and famous that were the Portuguese elite. After the BIG earthquake that took out most of Lisbon on November 1st 1755.All Saints Day, most people who were still alive wanted to be HIGH UP and on ROCK...so the rich ended up in this little Vortex town not far from Lisbon and bought or built these castles...WAYYYY UP HIGH...lovely town..shrouded in Stories of the Knights Templar and the Free Masons.
Was going to do a day trip...but temps were so hot, I decided to do a few ever nights there...MAGIC!

Stayed at the Nice Way Hostel..great garden and views from the room...lovely people too! Met a young lady named Julia from BC and we had some great chats and a beauty sunset event!

The best one there is the Quinta de Regaleira....Amazing Castle and Garden..have a look at me pics..most are from there!

Unfortunately..I can’t get my pics in order..YET.. but it was Magic❤️Met a lovely couple there from Florida..Suzanne and Greg. We had an Awesome lunch and went up to the top to see Pena Castle too, but the one above was Best!
