Feel a bit like zombies but after leaving Amritsar at 7am yesterday and brief stop in Delhi to change trains. The Pearsons survive Sleeper class again and arrive in Jaisalmer. Time for a nap. Bye Dharamshala! Had a great time. Hitting the road to Amritsar today on a local "boneshaker" bus to Pathankot before getting the train on for the last leg once we're off the mountains. Thanks to Lec for our Star Wars mascots (with the view from our balcony. £3.50 on digs well spent!) xx

On our fith day here in Mcleodganj/Dharamshala, Where exiled Tibetans incl. HH the 14th Dalai Lama dominate. Visited the Tibetan temple and compound here and even doing a spot of reading of books by the D.Lama to understand the culture a bit more. "Finding ourselves"? Not sure about that. Went down to Agra on Saturday on an early train and had whistle stoptour of the "Baby Taj", the view of the Taj Mahal from the other bank of the river (back) and then on to see the real thing. Hi All, sorry that this has taken so long but it's all been pretty hectic to say the least. So, we start our journey in Delhi. We arrived on 4th November and missed Diwali buy one day unfortunately. There were still celebrations when we arrived and fireworks going off everywhere so it was still pretty cool.
