Just a quick note to say hi before I head off to Istanbul tomorrow morning! I can't wait although am a bit worried about the debating as it will probably be quite a high standard. Anyway I start work at 5 and still have packing to do. I'll tell you all about it when I get back.
Love Karen

Hi Sam, Came for a quick peek of photo's with you and Michael - but none there. Spoke to him today when you were over on Samui Can't wait to see the outfits. Give me a quick call to let me know whether you're flying into Heathrow or Edin. I'm trying to tie up my flights to arrive on the same day as you - thought we could take a quick look at uni before flying up to Edin. Weather has been fab here although the last two days have turned cold. Michael seems in awe of the place - was taking a trot down to the beach with a book at 5.30pm - apparently it was still hot and sunny. I'm really starting to envy your current lifestyle..and now his. He had better make the most of it - sure he won't be having an easy time of it when he goes to the Bush. Speaking of Bush, George's (George Bush that is) daughter was at the same restaurant as me on Saturday night.Endless bodyguards - you would have sworn the president himself was having dinner there. Interesting job....spending an entire night just watching diners - it was the evil way they looked at everyone that got me....as if we cared that she was there. Goodness only knows what would have happened if any of us made a sudden move. Glad I wasn't wearing a white kaftan. She has a place out here - down the road along with Sting, Michael Jackson et al. Thought I'd managed to leave all that behind in the UK. The minute I see a Beckingham palace being built we're selling up, that's for sure! Enjoy your last month (what's left of it).........can't wait to see you. Love Mumxxx

Hi was great to here from you again. I'm moving into my new flat today! Its all very exciting although I'm going to have to sit on my own for a couple of hours while I wait for my parents to arrive as I'm getting furniture delivered and am not sure what time it will arrive at. The weather here is not too bad although I got cought in a huge down pour on Wedneday without a coat or an umbrella, I could have stood fully clothed underthe showerand would probably still have been dryer than I was by the time I got home. Was down in Edinburgh for Emma's speech day on Tuesday, its so strange to think that just a year ago that was us. They had it ina marquee in the school grounds this year,I have to say I prefer the Queen's Hall but all the teachers seemed to like it better this way. Then I was straight back to Aberdeen for Greg's graduation on Wednesday, very different from speech day given half of it is conducted in Latin, and most of the other half is old english. Anyway I really should go get ready to start moving boxes etc. Will hopefully hear from you again soon.
Love Karen
