Had my first hot shower for the whole trip this morning J. Seemed like a little taste of home!
The conference has been amazing. Last night Brian Houston's preach was exactly what I needed to hear - very inspiring! Yesterday definitely felt like a full-dose of the Hillsong anointing and we're looking forward to the final day today. A little breakfast, then we're off.
What's been surprising is how very Ukrainian the conference is. We are 6 of about 10 "foreigners" at the conference (not including speakers), so have a designated spot where interpretation is provided. All of the worship is in Russian, but still amazing. Our kids seemed to get just get lost in worship last night as they totally heated it up after Brian's preach. They are actually recording for another album in Russian as well. It's top drawer stuff!
Maxim and Jhenya seem to be thoroughly enjoying themselves as well - this is a first for them, experiencing a conference on such a large scale with this type of ministry.
After a long day yesterday (arriving home at 11pm), Jordyn, Levi, and myself decided to take the soap and shampoo to the River and go for a swim. It was a chilly 26 outside, but we managed to jump in the water just the same. I don't know what we're going to with the weather back home - freeze to death!
Tomorrow we'll (hopefully) catch the first train of the journey as we make our way towards Romania (through Moldova). I'm planning on make the 30 minute metro ride to the station today to find out what the options are and buy tickets. This is definitely the most "undefined" part of the itinerary and I'm a little nervous about it, but it'll be an adventure!
