Thanks to Candy's friend Karen and her knowledge of China and its culture, we were able to gain some additional insight into Ahn. We learned that it is normal for Chinese babies not to crawl because the floors are tyipcally too dirty. Even though our current hotel could use an upgrade (for western standards), we went for it. Ahn is napping, after sleeping for 13 hours last night. I am watching the Allstar game live. Very cool! We just enjoyed our first public family breakfast (WE FORGOT THE CAMERA AGAIN!). It went well. Our day started at 4:30am this morning. Ahn slept through the night. Although we are not sure that will be the case tonight. We are on nap number 3. He is a very inquisitive boy with excellent fine motor skills. He loves to pick things up with his two little fingers and examine them. We have discovered that almost anything can be made into a toy and enjoyed for about 15 minutes (the hotel key card, the cheerios container, a napkin, etc). He seems t...

The big attraction today was Ahn! What a day! When we left at 9:15AM for the governmental office, our liaison, Min, told us that she would bring the six children out one at a time.
