This morning we began our lengthy journey west to the Teton Science School!
This trip has been planned since the fall when students applied and were chose to participate. We have been planning and preparing for our journey through various pre-Teton hikes and activities.
Today, chaperones and students loaded all of their belongings, and boarded a 57 passenger bus.
Students chatted, listened to music, played games, and discussed their predictions for the week.
We stopped in Columbia for a quick lunch, and had a nice dinner in Lincoln, Nebraska. Our first driver, Don left us in Nebraska, where Carrie took over. She drove us until Kimball, where our final driver, Max, took over. Max will be with us all week, and will also begin our journey home to St. Louis next Saturday.
Students (and teachers!) are anxiously awaiting the early morning stop for breakfast In Dubois, Wyoming at the Cowboy Cafe.
