Hii there, we've now reached siem reap, Cambodia after a couple of days in Bangkok and we're very much liking the change of scene! During our brief time in Bangkok we managed to go to several markers and purchase those awesome trousers which you can see in the photo. I think we look awesome (Tess) but then again what do I know! We also headed to the grand palace, where this stunner was taken, and had a nice tour round the place. It was amazing. Just awesome! We had our first tuk tuk ride which was an experience and a half, pretty sure he was attempting to terrify us by travelling at the speed of light but hey we're here to tell the tale. Anyhow, we're now in siem reap after a 7 hour bus journey, the border crossing took a good hour and was completely crazy with people everywhere but we've got some more stamps in our passport so it's looking good so far! This evening we headed for dinner at a local clinic/school and even managed to squeeze in 20 minutes of teaching English. I was born to be a teacher. The pupils were amazed at the quality of my English until I mentioned it was my first language.....dinner was amazing, a mix of all sorts of Cambodian food with bucketfuls of rice!! The rice never seems to stop!
