Mancora is a beach town with good surfing. A bit of a party town with our hotel being the main place!! As soon as we got wrist bands, this was a bit of a giveaway!! It{s like i am in a club med holiday for 18 to 30{s. It{s a nice resort, got a pool, right on the beach, bar. Every evening there is a drinking competition either beer pingpong etc.
Just before we arrived, Shane and Prue who we met in Quito on our first night, had arrived, so we met up with them in the day time. The first day was spent relaxing and walking along the beach. Adam wants to do a kite surfing lesson, so he will do this for the next 2 days.
Our first night i organised for us to meet Prue and Shane for dinner, first having a drink in the bar. On the way to a restaurant, we then met Leigh Anne and Mike from the Galapagos Islands, then ended up in the Chinese Restaurant called Tao. Really Good food!! We then went back to the resort to play Snooker. Girls against guys! I managed to clean up on one game, but Prue managed to sail us through the others. The guys ended up on winning on the last game. At this point i was hardly hitting anything!!
The following day was again relaxing. I bumped into Leigh Anne and Mike and went to the Veggie place Angela{s for lunch with them. When wealking down the beach i bumped into the English guys from our last night in Quito and Banos. He had just arrived and i think was staying in the wrong place.
Shane, Prue, Adam and i had dinner again. We went to the Sushi place. Really good sushi but did not fill us up for headed to the Pizza place other!! Once back we played a giant game of connect 4. I beat Adam and Shane, but since it was easy to bet Shane, we did a furth game were he won. Another fun filled evening.
Today was pretty much the same, but we are all heading out later. Adam and i are on the 6.30pm bus to Lima. It will take 19 hours!!!! ARRRHHHHHHHHHHH!!
We plan to stay there for a day or 2 then will do another big bus trip to Cusco!
