It is coming to my attention that Chinese men smell and that is just a fact of life.. Or maybe it is only when you are squished like sardines trying to walk through a train station and get on a train?!
AND why is everyone running? Like they are letting you on the train and it doesn't leave for another 40 minutes, you all have allocated beds or seats so chill out because if you push into me once more I will drop my rucksack on your foot. Doesn't seem like much but once you've been carrying it for more than 5 minutes it automatically doubles in weight..
Oh good news. Third train in an I have worked my way down to a bottom bunk! I can finally sit all the way up! Yet all I want to do is lie down! After finishing my book I can finally take it out of my rucksack, because it weighs so much, all of 0.5kg! So it's been a mixed journey so far.. All I have to do is get to sleep an it will stay on a high.
Oh wait - the Chinese man on the middle bunk OBVIOUSLY had to have nasal problems and is snoring like a trooper! When myself and Katie considered throwing something at his head in a English way we had realised, luckily very quickly, that it probably wouldn't be taken the same way!
Apart from the train feeling like it came off the tracks many times throughout the night we got to Chongquin alive and with no Chinese casualties.
3 down, 2 to go!
