Well made it to Roma! so far driving in Italy has been fun.... We've only got lost a couple of times and not managed to drift over to the other side of the road. We made sure that we had accommodation outside of Rome cos everybody told us driving was a nightmare! doesn't seem as bad as London or Reading come to that..... anyway we are staying at a really cool campsite in a sweet cabin, it has to be the best shower we've had in Italy.. and we have a pool! the weather has been very hot thank goodness after our rain in Pompeii. Rome is amazing has everything a big city should but with a little bit more. Our first sight of the Colosseum was breathtaking its quite something to walk along normal streets, turn the corner and be confronted with that view.. We spent all day on Tuesday at The Vatican trying to get holy.. didn't work...though it was the most fantastic place, you have never seen such an amazing work of architecture, St. Peters makes all of our abbeys and cathedrals look tiny.. and as for the Sistine Chapel, well words cannot describe, you are not allowed to take pictures inside the actual chapel but mags managed to sneak one only of the ceiling though. The last judgement was unbelievable, that Michaelangelo what a guy! We've had our share of Latin temper, nearly watched a couple killing each other yesterday what a shame we didnt have the video on it would have made great footage! then today on a bus some guy had parked his car right over the road which meant we couldnt get past so created an enormous traffic jam you have never heard so much bibbing of horns and italian voices all raised, all trying to work out how to move this car, then the guy just saunters over gets in and drives away..... what fun.
