Morning everyone, Its another sweaty day in China. Two days ago we went to the temple of heaven. It was really impressive, probably one of the best places we had been in Beijing. I liked the fact that we got to enjoy the historic side of the city without the thousands of people. It was still pretty busy but not by Beijing standards. Three days ago the weather cleared and we had bright blue sky so we went to Jingshan park which provides great views over the forbidden city. Its a short climb up the hill but it was soo hot that it felt like climbing everest. We had decided to leave this until a day when the smog cleared as the visability was so bad. Hi Everyone, We are now in Beijing. I'm sitting in the lobby of our hotel using their free wifi. That's right I said HOTEL!!
