Hey All!!
I know we have only been in Buenos Aires for a day, but I figured I am going to write as often as I can because I know all of you would like some entertainment at work...in the real world.....;) Buenos Aires is a beautiful city, very unique and very active. It isn't as "upscale" as we imagined, which is nice because it is not as expensive as other cities tend to be. Today we set out walking to El Centre (the focal point of the city) but got sidetracked in Recoletta (the "ritzy area of BA). We went and saw the famous Recoletta cemetery (so incredible) as well as a very old cathedral. We also saw a high end fashion shoot going on which was neat. We both forgot our watches at the apartment (which I liked) so we really had no concept of time and didn't end up eating lunch until 3pm. We went to a delicious local Argentinian restaurant named "Comaras" where we shared a stew made with beef, pork, corn and beans along with a salad in a flat bread bowl. Including two sodas as well as an appetizer empanada we only spent $11! Wonderful! We haven't decided what we are doing tonight, but we are back at the apartment for now letting our feet rest. Dinner doesn't really get going here until 9-10pm, so we have some time. That was pretty much our day, we miss you all!!
Until we (well really just I) write again-

p.s. I am posting the few pictures we have thus far!
